Emily Johnson, 14, of Baldwin Junior High, finished 17th among 90 plus competitors in the 41st All Kansas Spelling Bee held in Topeka. Becki Blacksome of Ransom Junior High won the title and earned a trip to Washington, D C to represent Kansas in the National Spelling Bee.
