Private industry moves into Franklin County school buildings
In 1969 Central Heights drew students from Princeton Richmond Lane and Rantoul leaving behind aging schoolhouses now repurposed. Caswell's speaker plant occupies Princeton building while Rigid Form converts Richmond Lane and Rantoul sites for camper shell production. McGinnis uses Rantoul gym as shop and office. all cite cost and location as keys in fate of surplus properties.
