Road closure on Sand Creek Road in Franklin County
The Franklin County Road and Bridge Department closed a section of Sand Creek Road from Kentucky to Iowa roads for repair. The closure continues until further notice with a detour guiding motorists north on Kentucky Road to Sand Creek Terrace to Reno Road to Iowa Road and back to Sand Creek Road.

Missing teen Megan Holloway found in Olathe
Megan Holloway a 14 year old from Ottawa was located Tuesday in Olathe after a week long disappearance. She was last seen March 14 near Ottawa High School and left voluntarily with an unknown acquaintance. No foul play is suspected and the Ottawa Police thanked detectives while withholding further details.

Significant fire damages Osage County home and garage
Osage County four districts responded after a house fire at 16129 S Berryton Rd between 4 and 5 am Tuesday. Sheriff Laurie Dunn identified the home as belonging to Brian Wiggans. No injuries reported and origin undetermined.

A 30 year old Ottawa woman reports being battered by a 36 year old Ottawa woman after an altercation on Monday at 2 32 p m in the 900 block of East Walton Street. The case remains under investigation. Earlier Monday at 5 19 a m a flower pot owned by the Kansas State Bank in the 200 block of North Main Street was involved in an incident.
