Space station crew begins return to Earth on Discovery

The three man Alpha crew led by Commander Bill Shepherd returned to Earth aboard Space Shuttle Discovery after 4 1/2 months, while replacement crew flagged a false smoke alarm in the Destiny lab. Russian cosmonaut Yuri Usachev said there was no smoke or odor as the false trigger was blamed on dust.
