Samaritans Save Kids As Bus Driver Dies On Scene
In Darien Illinois two Good Samaritans leaped onto a runaway school bus carrying five children after the driver collapsed from a heart attack. The bus halted with the help of a nameless rescuer and another man who slammed on the brakes. The driver, 65 year old Russell Grimmelheim, died on arrival at a hospital. Children aged 5 to 9 were treated for minor injuries and released.
