Record setting cosmonauts land after 96 days in space
Yuri Romanenko and Georgy Grechko return to Earth in Soyuz 27 after a 96 day record making mission aboard Salyut 6. They land in Kazakhstan in good condition as the U.S. has no crewed flight until 1980. The mission included first three spacecraft linkup and first space refueling with Progress 1.
