Franklin County Sumo Invitational Set for April 25
Franklin County hosts the first Sumo Wrestling Invitational at Ottawa University Wil son Fieldhouse on April 25. United Way and 16 corporate partners sponsor teams, brackets, and donations to raise funds, with $5 donations for brackets and a $5 general admission. Companies nominate employee reps and compete for a $500 prize and various recognitions.

Hope House seeks help for Franklin County winter needs
Mary Lois Yates of Hope House Franklin County urges community aid as emergency needs rise this winter. The nonprofit, a United Way member since 1990, provides food, utility and rent assistance, clothing, and spiritual support through volunteers and partner churches.
