Solar energy touted as next big power source near Wellsville
Wellsville area landowner Kevin Klewene, active in the oil sector, is installing solar panels on Shawnee Road about two miles from Wellsville. He plans 66 panels across two sites to generate 400 dollars monthly, offsetting a 500 dollar bill, and says residential use has a six year payback with IRS tax credits. His system targets commercial and five to ten acre properties, requiring 75 feet spacing between parcels.
