New dino discovery shakes beliefs on predator packs
A team from Argentina and North America unearthed six large meat eaters in Patagonia, suggesting they hunted in packs. The 45 foot long predator, related to Giganotosaurus but a new genus, had a long narrow skull and slicer teeth, possibly more terrifying than Tyrannosaurus rex. Researchers estimate about 100 million years old, with remains from multiple ages.
