Special Question Ballot on 1 percent sales tax in Franklin County
Franklin County Kansas voters will decide on April 5 1983 a county wide retailer's sales tax of 1 percent to fund county and one city. If approved July 1 1983 the tax will be collected by the state revenue department and distributed per law. Polls run 7 am to 7 pm at specified township and Ottawa city precincts. The ballot asks shall the county wide tax be levied.
