Hillsdale Park State Park bill advances in Kansas House
The House Energy and Natural Resources Committee approved a measure to create Hillsdale State Park around Hillsdale Reservoir in Miami and Johnson counties. It would authorize land purchases or leases and allow Miami County to contract with Park and Resources Authority for management, with Johnson County’s involvement optional. Filling is due next fall.
