Ottawa University guard Rachel Brown earned honorable mention in the KCAC. Freshman Emma Hartzler was named to the all-freshmen squad. Sterling coach Lonnie Kruse earned coach of the year as the Lady Warriors took the regular-season title.
Kansas coach Bill Self says six NCAA bids is realistic for the Big 12 as the league posts a top RPI and several 16 win teams. Pat Knight and Texas Tech’s coach push for six NCAA and four NIT berths, noting balanced, improved competition and several teams in the mix.
