At 3 58 p m Monday 1600 block of Osage Drive Adam Heenan 31 Ottawa held on Osawatomie Municipal warrant. At 4 22 p m Monday 900 block North Cedar Street James Adell 35 Ottawa suspected of marijuana and drug paraphernalia. At 4 44 p m Monday 1000 block South Cedar Street Alex Soper 18 Georgia suspected of marijuana and drug paraphernalia.
Police logs detail two incidents. At 7 09 a.m. on North King Street a 46 year old Ottawa woman reported items stolen from her home by an unknown suspect. At 2 37 p.m. on South Cedar Street a 27 year old Ottawa man reported a known suspect stole money from the Amoco store.
Friday civil matter on Main Street 700 block. Friday assist outside agency at K-33 and I-35. Saturday aggravated assault on Benton Drive 200 block. Monday medical call at Walnut Street 300 block.
At 7:07 a.m. Saturday a 2002 Ford F250 driven by Justina Pinkerton age 40 of Osawatomie slid on ice on John Brown Road and ended in a ditch striking trees causing over $1,000 damage. At 4:01 p.m. Monday Guadalupe Pacheco age 77 of Ottawa struck a fence and a parked car on South Main Street.

Thirteen people face charges in a federal crackdown in Wichita over more than 580000 in food stamp benefits cashed at two small grocers. In north Ottawa John Shepherd rescued a cow that fell into a well at a home yard after drawing water. Neighbors aided with lanterns and ropes as the injured animal received first aid, while owners faced the loss of one cow and a wary veterinarian tended the creature.
