Sunbeam Corp. plans to acquire The Coleman Co Signature Brands USA Inc. and First Alert Inc in a about 1.8 billion dollar cash and stock deal. The three acquisitions lift Sunbeam revenue toward 3 billion and add Coleman First Alert and outdoor coffee maker brands while assuming about 608 million in debt. The moves sent First Alert Coleman and Signature Brands USA stock higher on the morning of the announcement.
