Ottawa considers annexing 300 acre industrial park site

Ottawa city commissioners will decide at 7 p.m. Wednesday whether to annex more than 300 acres southeast of Ottawa into the city for a future business park near Montana and Kingman roads. The city acquired the land by December 2014 and aims to develop it for growth while city and Franklin County officials continue planning. A joint update session is set for 10:30 a.m. March 16 as engineering and master planning teams define the vision.
