Regents approve EU tuition deal for KU freshmen
The Kansas Board of Regents backed a plan to fix tuition for incoming University of Kansas freshmen with a four year rate starting about 16 percent higher this fall. The rate will be reset for each new class to shield KU from inflation while other state universities may not adopt the plan. Fort Hays State leaders doubt adoption and say tuition rises can be kept low through enrollment growth and international programs.
