Government To Confront Illegal Station Practices In Kansas City
Federal energy officials announced a crackdown on retail service stations violating the 1074 Energy Petroleum Allocation Act. Operators were accused of limiting sales to regular customers, price gouging, and tying in car washes or services to gas sales. Lindell Williams said enforcement teams will expand from 25 to 40 across a 10 state region.
