Ottawa Woman Killed in U S Highway 69 Crash

Funeral services planned for Shaffer Hedgepath-Shaffer, 27, of Ottawa, killed when her northbound car crossed the center line on U S 69 north of Alma and collided with a tractor trailer. Dennis L. Digiacomo, 45, of Wisconsin, driver of the rig, was uninjured. The truck caught fire. paramedics responded. She leaves husband Melvin Hedgepath-Shaffer and two children, plus her parents Bruce W. and Sheryl Cox. Obituary details continue elsewhere.
