Astronaut Kerwin Leads Skylab Dizziness Record

One of Skylab's three crewmen, Dr. Joseph P. Kerwin, returned from the 28 day mission feeling sicker than any US astronaut. He was dizzy and unable to walk without help after the Pacific splashdown aboard the USS Ticonderoga. Commander Charles Conrad Jr. showed dizziness but recovered quickly. Paul J. Weitz struggled more with gravity but fared better than Kerwin. Doctors caution full recovery for all three as they await sleep and further tests. The crew solved key Skylab problems and collected extensive data on sun and earth observations and weightlessness effects. They may visit President Nixon and Soviet leader Brezhnev if invited. The carrier San Diego arrival is anticipated Sunday.
