Wrights Showcase Upper Floor Apartment Over Studio
Betty Wright and family opened their 324 S Main space to the Ottawa public during a homes tour to illustrate how upper floors in business-district buildings can be converted. Architect Vincent Skidmore designed the 21 000 square foot layout with gas zone HVAC, skylights, a patio, and a master bath suite. The family highlights practical kitchen design, integrated work and entertaining spaces, and a woodwork hobby shop between the studio and apartment.
