Cowboy Days Western Art Show and Parade Schedule

A day of events at the Carnegie Cultural Center and Ottawa venues features western art shows, mechanical rides, and pony experiences from 8 a.m. to 9 p.m. Highlights include parades at City Park, a duck race, stage performances by Gary Pratt and Eli Barsi, saddle making, horse shoe toss, a stock dog demo, and a concert at the Ottawa Municipal Auditorium.

Ottawa Suzuki Strings present Absolutely Ottawa 2006 concerts

Young musicians in the Ottawa Suzuki Strings program perform free public shows this week at Carnegie Cultural Center and Ottawa University venues. Instructors join, with student solo recitals at 1 30 p.m. Ottawa University Chapel and an Institute Orchestras in Concert at 7 p.m. on Cedar Street. A Mozart on Main Street noon concert on Fourth and Main precedes the Institute Final Concert with all students.
