Unwanted Czech Will Leave U S
Czechoslovak U.N. Delegate Mi roslav Nacvalac planned to leave for home today to escape deportation as a spy. The 39-year-old diplomat, No. 3 in his U.N. delegation, had reservations on a French airliner for himself and his wife and two sons. He faced U S charges of being the top Czechoslovak spy in the country and had been ordered to depart after Washington revoked his U.N. status. The case sparked protests at the U.N. and a push by Czechoslovakia to oppose U S moves at the world body. The State Department said he sought to defect and was ordered out for lack of sincerity. A note to Dag Hammarskjold cited $1,700 paid to a U S Army language instructor for information on students.
