Jayhawker Day Brings Fun and Funds to Williamsburg
Several hundred residents enjoyed Jayhawker Day with arts and crafts booths arm wrestling and horseshoes a tobacco spitting contest carnival rides turtle races a dunking booth and parade The event also featured a 10K run a baby contest a street dance and a mud a-thon All proceeds support a new community building planned across from Guy Mae s Tavern with past years fundraising aiding construction efforts Photos by Jim Dietz
