Billy Martin Troxel 72 of Osawatomie died June 17 2004 at LifeCare Center Osawatomie. Funeral 11 am Monday Eddy Birchard Funeral Home Osawatomie burial with military honors. In Pakistan, the army killed renegade tribal leader Nek Mohammed in a helicopter strike on his mud-brick compound near Wana after tracing him by satellite phone. Six others died, including at least two foreigners. The operation, confirmed by Maj Gen Shaukat Sultan, involved a missile fired at the hideout with unclear involvement from the United States. Mohammed had vowed to topple governments in Pakistan and Afghanistan.

Born Sept 24 1923 to Earl Hobert and Mary Elizabeth Noe she graduated Williamsburg High School 1941. Worked Civil Air Patrol World War II and as a seamstress for H D Lee retiring after 37 years. Survived by daughters Jackee Young and Pam Spencer twin brother Warren Noe five grandchildren nine great grandchildren two great great grandchildren. Burial Mt Hope Cemetery Williamsburg. The Ottawa Area Chamber of Commerce seeks 45000 from Franklin County for its economic development fund for 2005. No tax money would go to O FCED. Funds come from contracts with the Chamber and are used to recruit industry and business in the region.

Born June 19 1945 at rural Earlton to Neil F and Irmel Marie Powers Graham. He lived in Kansas City Missouri before moving to Wellsville five years ago. Leona D Adams 65 of Ottawa died at home. Funeral 10 am Tuesday Dengel Son Mortuary officiated by Rev Matthew Benarden. She was born March 15 1939 in Ottawa to John L Montgomery and Eula Mae Wel ton. She worked as a dispatcher for A 1 Cab Co in the 1960s and later at North American Hotel Norge Village Laundry Hallmark Inn, then 24 years as a clerk at Franklin County Transfer Station retiring in May. She married Joe Scott 1955 and Robert Adams 1976, both later divorced. She was a North Baptist Church deacon and Ottawa Promenaders Square Dance Club member. Survivors include five children Karen Hull Rita Coulter Randy Scott Annette Spillman John Scott, four sisters Donna Yakle Beth Hotaling Sandra Moore Linda Fletcher, one brother Kenny Montgomery, 13 grandchildren, three great grandchildren, four step grandchildren, eight step great grandchildren, and three step great great Burial at Highland.
