Giants Upset League Leader In Cal Ripken Division

The Giants in the Otta wa Cal Ripken Major Division upset the previously unbeaten Indians 11-5 Friday. After trailing 5-4, the Giants scored six in the fourth. Pitcher Travis Manes went the distance, allowing five runs on five hits with six strikeouts. Wyatt Peters, Cade Bell, Parker Finch and Austin Blane each had two hits. Indians starter Jamie Soderberg yielded five runs in three innings. Jordan Morton worked two innings, giving up five runs on two hits. Indians still lead standings at 6-1 with Royals 5-2, Giants 4-4, Diamondbacks 2-6, Eagles 2-6.
