Franklin County Water District No 6 faces two feasible paths to relocate John Brown Highway water lines with costs around 28 000 per mile for six miles. Commissioners propose county funding of 12 100 per mile for 3 3 miles or county wide relocation with district only inspecting, while district balks at ceding control and questions engineer quality. A state waiver on road width could trim required relocation to 500 600 feet, potentially easing finances. next meeting will seek a solution.
