Six Die in Detroit House Fire with Suspicious Links
In Detroit a two story brick house fire killed six people this morning including three children aged 7 8 and 10. Fire Chief William Peck said the victims relationships were unclear though one appeared to be a neighbor's child sleeping over. An attempted firebombing at the address occurred within the past week and authorities are treating the blaze as suspicious though not yet arson. A man and a woman escaped as neighbors heard screams and witnessed the fire shortly before 4 a.m.
