A reception honoring Mr and Mrs George Antone observed their 60th wedding anniversary since January and Mr and Mrs Glenn Geiss who will reach 35 years in December will be held 2 to 4 pm Sunday at the Geiss home 1120 S Elm George Antone wed Miss Anne Teter January 14 1920 and they have two children seven grandchildren and four great grandchildren Glenn Geiss and Norma Antone wed December 25 1945 and have four children two grandchildren and reside in Ottawa area The event is hosted by their children and grandchildren Sister Mary L Graham was honored Saturday with a reception at the National Guard Armory as associate grand conductress of the Order of Eastern Star of Kansas about 500 guests attended a carry in dinner was served.
