Co op sues short line railroads over grain car delays
Farmco Co op filed a complaint with the Surface Transportation Board seeking 334,662 dollars in damages from Wichita based Central Kansas Railway and Kansas Southwestern Railway. The eight elevator owner says 303 promised rail cars never arrived, forcing alternate transport and losses. OmniTrax parent lines defend the case as meritless.
