City Cousin Installs Soroptimist Officers in Ottawa Banquet
During the Soroptimist Club installation at Ottawa University, a woman claiming to be Ellene Stevenson’s city cousin appeared in a black wig and formal wear to install the officers. She named Ellene Stevenson president, Deloris Doman VP, Marilyn Teter recording secretary, Maxine Stephens and Carolyn Faden as secretaries, Ruby Marmon and Roselyn Whitley named directors, with Stephens and Gloria Terrill new members. The city cousin then kissed each officer before Mrs. Whitley returned apologizing for the call.
