Survived by Dorothy Nadine Kristenson, four daughters, 11 grandchildren, 22 great grandchildren, three great great grandchildren. Burial Highland Cemetery. Memorials to Trinity UMC or VFW Post 5901. Leslie "Jack" Martz, 81, Garnett, died June 10, 2001 at home. Services at Farris-Feuerborn Memorial Chapel, Garnett. Survived by Virginia Falls, one son, three daughters, two brothers, four grandchildren. Burial Garnett Cemetery. Memorial fund established.

Olathe man pleads guilty in area burglaries and chases

Tommy Earl Bouser, 40, of Olathe, admitted felony criminal damage to property, theft, and fleeing in Franklin County Court. Nine related charges were dismissed. He admitted crimes from July 7 and 8, 2000, tied to burglaries at Carswell Automotive and KenCo Car Wash, with incidents in Ottawa and Miami and Johnson counties. Sentencing set for July 23. restitution ordered at $41,823 and 30 months imprisonment.
