The Picturephone is being tested in six U S cities with public rooms for face-to-face meetings. Home use is costly for now, but may come later. People in New York, Washington, Chicago, San Francisco, Los Angeles and Atlanta can meet in dedicated rooms. Grandparents use it to see distant grandchildren.
