Williamsburg Ottawa club hosts annual fishing derby at lake
The Williamsburg Ottawa Wildlife Conservation Club held a public fishing derby at its lake last Sunday with 25 anglers ranging from ages two to 65 plus. Five divisions awarded prizes for largest and most fish, led by John Weaver with a one pound seven ounce channel cat and Helen Scribner as best overall in the over 65 class. The club, open to members who pay ten dollars yearly dues, sponsors traps, youth safety, and Christmas baskets, with plans for more entrants next year.
