Zoning Board to Review Utilities Warehouse Permit and Variances
Ottawa board of zoning appeals will meet at City Hall at 7 p.m. to consider a special-use permit for a new Utilities Warehouse at Second and Beech and approve two variances sought by Larry and Robin Bones. They request a nine-foot front-yard setback variance and a seven-foot side-yard variance for an arterial street. The Bones seek a six-foot solid fence along the front and yard privacy, arguing the need to keep children in and for privacy. The deck encroaches seven feet into the setback and a permit issue prompted an inspector stop.
