Farmer builds own golf course near Goessel
Myron Schmidt, a 55 year old farmer from Goessel, converted 18 acres of his farm into Pine Edge a nine hole course 1 1/2 miles east of Alexanderwohl Church. He opened it to the public with $7 for nine holes $10 for 18 and annual memberships under $200. The course features a signature 126 yard par three island green over water and sand traps demanding precision.
