Niccole R. Thompson, 18, of Ottawa died June 3 2001 in a motor vehicle crash. Memorial services 2 p.m. Friday at Dengel Son Mortuary officiated by Rev Steven Beseau. Born Feb 25 1983 in Ottawa to Tommy L. and Oma Thompson, she was a lifelong Franklin County resident and a senior at the Kansas State School for the Deaf in Olathe. She worked at McDonald’s Ottawa and held leadership roles in school activities. Survived by her parents, brother Tyler, grandparents Dottie Bethell Steven Signaigo Waneta Thompson Mary Louise Lawson Ruby Huss and many aunts and uncles. Cremation followed. memorials to the Kansas School for the Deaf.
