Surviving fugitives in Utah manhunt may have slipped away
Heat sensors and helicopters scanned the San Juan River near Bluff Utah as authorities pursued two Colorado fugitives linked to a December last week gun attack that killed Officer Dale Claxton. A suspect was found dead at a campsite and sightings suggested a boat might help their escape. The river corridor was shut to the public as deputies and a SWAT team patrolled from Mexican Hat to Cortez.
