The Ottawa Youth Employment program, in its sixth year, will serve more youths after a $30,000 Heartland Works grant. It expands eligibility to ages 14 to 21 and to non Ottawan youths. Participants may work at the Old Depot Museum, hospital records, animal shelter, Ottawa University, and Wendy’s internship.
Two bodies were found buried in 55-gallon drums in an east Kansas farm field near La Cygne Linn County.
