Sisters in Nursing Parade Highlights KU Graduates and Families
Two Reichard sisters march in the KU baccalaureate procession as nursing education instructor Betty Sullivan and graduate Jean Higbie prepare for bachelor and nursing degrees. Jean will be a public health nurse in Douglas County starting July 1, and her husband, a pharmacy student, resides in Wellsville. Dr. Sullivan will join a Wichita pediatrics group after July 1, with two children, Lynda and Steven. Rita Doles, daughter of Tommy and Mrs. Doles, is noted with extended family including Keim and Burgess relatives across Kansas, as a part of the community’s post ceremony announcements.
