Locomotive servant of history heads to Kansas line
A 60 year old Alco steam locomotive once hauling lumber to Oregon has found a new home in Kansas. The Midland Historical Railroad bought the 1930 engine, which arrived in Ottawa last week to pull a passenger train on the Midland Railway between Ottawa and Baldwin. Ottawa pitcher Jason Ball threw a six inning no hitter against Osage City as the Legion team won three of four over the weekend.
