Alumni Banquet Highlights OU progress and fund drive
Peter Armacost, OU president, praised the university at the Alumni Reunion Banquet while reviewing a 5.7 million dollar fund drive. Enrollment rose 3 percent as staff expanded advising and interdisciplinary units. He noted tennis team success, a sportsmanship award, and active community service programs. A Title II grant funds program expansion, with a June 1990 budget shortfall. Remodelling Wilson Field House, new auditoriums, campus beautification, student aid, endowment, and faculty and program enrichment are planned.
