Ottawa Softball Falls 3 0 in 4A Title Game at Salina

Ottawa High School softball lost 3 0 to Riverton in the 4A state championship in Salina. Haleigh Sills drove in two runs with a first inning double as Riverton snapped Ottawa’s offense after Hailie Ray kept Ottawa hitless after the opener. Ottawa managed three hits and left runners in scoring position in the third and fifth frames as Riverton sealed the title with strong pitching and timely hitting.
