Saturday opens to the public at West Second Street range. Funds go to Special Olympics and local charities. over 10 000 in indoor prizes, with door prizes including firearms.
Ottawa city officials will discuss a consultant study on electric system needs at a work session Monday at city hall starting 3 p.m. The report recommends a new substation costing over 1 million dollars and notes aging equipment while supporting a second substation to reduce grid outages linked to the Kansas City Power and Light connection.
