Victim linked to thefts at KU
Police tied Jeffrey Len Holly, 24, of Lawrence, to a $14,000 theft from a University of Kansas basketball locker room before his shooting death on a Lawrence street. Sgt. Mark Warren said Holly died of multiple gunshot wounds and the case is being investigated as homicide.
