Rockefeller IV with several moving from Nixon support or from uncommitted to Rockefeller. Two Nixon backers now lean Rockefeller, while uncommitted delegates in several states also tilt Rockefeller. Carlson remains Kansas’s first ballot choice. Delegates report heavy mail backing Rockefeller, though some doubt the campaign's effect and one Nixon ally warns the bandwagon may backfire.
