State postpones planned gun sale in Topeka
The Kansas Department of Revenue postpones a gun sale, initially planned for Saturday, citing a clash between federal rules restricting sale to licensed dealers and state law requiring public notice. About 400 confiscated firearms were to be sold, with sale now planned for September. Governor Graves had opposed state gun sales, while lawmakers rejected his ban proposal.
