Japanese Youth Orientation At OU In Kansas LABO Link

About 180 Japanese youths and sponsors spent two days at Ottawa University for orientation before a month long stay with Kansas host families. They toured Topeka sites and prepared for LABO American Japanese youth exchange programs run by the LABO International Exchange Foundation, founded to foster friendship and cultural exchange through home stays.

Royals Game Brings Out 4-H Families on Royals Trip

A 4-H club bus trip to see the Kansas City Royals beat the New York Yankees 5-2 drew about 39 000 fans with roughly 50 parents and 4-H youths. Most sat in the upper deck while Juanita Blanco cheered the Yankees early, citing the old dog trick remark.
