Medieval cosplay at SCA event inspires playful anachronisms
At a Saturday event sponsored by the Society for Creative Anachronism, participants wore heavy armor and used silver duct tape on weapons while modern gear showed beneath. Leather mugs by Bob Mize of Overland Park and handmade shawls and illuminated artworks drew interest as attendees endured heat in period garb.
