Topeka firm aims to buy Ottawa Middle School for restoration
Pioneer Group Inc of Topeka and Kansas City seeks to purchase the former Ottawa Middle School slated for demolition. The board will meet with Pioneer leaders to discuss a possible sale and feasible restoration, after the State Historical Society questioned demolition. The building, on Kansas Historical Places, is near the Carnegie Cultural Center.
