Ottawa Regional Aerobatics Contest Chooses Top Pilot
Twenty eight pilots from across the country competed at Ottawa Municipal Airport in a seven year regional IAC event. Lee Manelski of Ventura, California, won the Unlimited class with nearly 90 percent on four flights, amid high difficulty maneuvers. Chip Corley earned a special trophy after his canopy shattered midflight, the weekend’s sole mishap.
